Faith MorrisonFaith A. Morrison is Professor of Chemical Engineering at Michigan Technological University.  Morrison received her B.S.Ch.E Magna Cum Laude from Princeton University in 1983 and her Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering from the University of Massachusetts, Amherst in 1988.

Morrison’s research has been on the rheology of block copolymers, highly entangled polymer melts and solutions, filled polymer composites, and hydrogels.  Morrison is the author of two textbooks, Understanding Rheology (Oxford, 2001) and An Introduction to Fluid Mechanics (Cambridge, 2013).  In 2012-13 she was the William R. Kenan, Jr. Visiting Professor for Distinguished Teaching at Princeton University.  In 2009-2011 Morrison was the President of the Society of Rheology (SOR) and served six years on the SOR Executive Committee.

In addition, since 2004 Morrison has been the editor and publisher of the Rheology Bulletin, the news and information publication of the Society of Rheology.
