Summary of provisions
Provisions in both House and Senate bills:
Directs the National Science Foundation to develop a plan for how the agency can enhance outreach efforts to veterans
Directs the National Science Board to include data on veterans in STEM careers or education programs in its S&E Indicators report
Directs the White House Office of Science and Technology Policy to establish an interagency working group to coordinate federal programs and policies for transitioning veterans and military spouses into STEM careers
