Professor of Space Physics, Imperial College, London. Taken at The Blackett Laboratory, London. In the background is a 1/25th size model of the Cassini spacecraft which is currently in orbit studying the planet Saturn and it's moons. Michele Dougherty is responsible for the magnetometer instrument which resides on the long 11 metre boom protruding off the side of the spacecraft.
