L-R: Roger Hildebrand and graduate students Mark Dragovan and Giles Novak (University of Chicago), 1983.  Hildebrand's group pioneered far-infrared polarimetry.  Eleven of his students wrote Ph.D. dissertations using data they obtained on the Kuiper Airborne Observatory (KAO).
