L-R are Joseph Horton and assistant, W.A. Marrison observing the larger of two television receivers demonstated by the Bell System. Here they are using crystal controlled fresquency standards to maintain transmitter and receiver in synchronism without the use of energy from a common source, transmitted together with the picture signal.
