(L-R): August Kundt, Georg Quincke, Friedrich Kohlrausch and Rudolf Clausius (seated right) on 300th anniversary of re-establishment of University of Wurzsburg. Clausius, Kundt, Quincke and F. Kohlrausch in succession held the professorship of physics there. F. Kohlrausch (1840-1909) assisted his father Rudolf Kohlrausch and Wilhelm Weber when they in 1856 made the first measurement of the ratio of the electromagnetic to the electrostatic unit.
