Chinese physicists at the International Conference on Fundamental Particles and Low Temperatures at Cambridge in 1946.

Hu Jiming, Mei Zhangyao, Peng Huanwu, Zhou Peiyuan, He Zehui (third from left), Qian Sanqiang, Wu Dayou. 

Qian Sanqiang later directed research into the development of the atomic bomb for the People's Republic of China. Zhou Peiyuan was professor of physics at, and later president of, Peking Univeristy.
