From left - Nobel Laureate Tjalling Koopmans, Truus Wanninger Koopmans, Robert Sard. Koopmans started out as a theoretical physicist, then switched to economics for which he won the 1975 Nobel Prize. Taken at Loomis Laboratory of Physics at the University of Illinois. Circa 1976-77: Title of his colioquium was 'Approches of different professions to common problems.'
