Portrait of Armand Wyler, a mathematician who got his PhD from the Federal Institute of Technology in 1966. After a year as an instructor at Stanford and a year at MIT, he went to the Mathematics Institute in Zurich. He spent the academic year 1971-72 as a member of the Institute for Advanced Study.
